Startline Sports Massage

After a year out of competitive 10k races due to business commitments, injury and huge amounts of work I am finally going back into training, aiming to get my PB down to a 42 mins, do- able I feel as this time I shall start injury free.

I thought as my problem was a very common runners ailment “runners knee”- it may be a useful exercise to follow for other runners who have problems with this condition. I shall be back out with my fantastic local runners group “The Goyt Valley Strider’s”, we run in a very hilly area, so this is an injury that plagues many but really it doesn’t have to if posture and training plans are adhered to.

Watch my page as I start my 2014 campaign . first race being the Age UK “Wrap Up and Run” series in the beautiful Tatton Park in ┬áMarch, which I am doing as a gentle run with my sister in law Sarah and her sister Jo to give me something to aim for……just in case lazy-itus creeps in!!!!!!

First job – GO AND BUY SOME NEW TRAINERS!
