Startline Sports Massage in Broads Green, West Wiltshire

Startline Sports Massage at Snetterton HSCC meeting 2nd June 2013Motor racing is a passion and we can forget to take care of ourselves in the excitement of competition.

‘You are the biomechanical part of your car – looking after your biomechanics is just as important as looking after your mechanical athlete!’

The unusual physical demands of motor racing often result in neck, shoulder and lower back pain, cramps, sore hamstrings and tension related tiredness.

‘‘My own experience as a racing driver has taught me that all of these symptoms can be alleviated by correct hydration, correct posture and deep tissue massage’

In the past twelve months, Startline therapist Sara Fogg has attended race circuits around Britain including Silverstone, Brands Hatch, Oulton Park and Snetterton and has provided sports therapy treatments to racing drivers from the Ferrari club of Great Britain, the Historic Formula 2000 Association, and the Kartforce endurance racing team for disabled ex-servicemen.

‘‘Fantastic to have Sara with us at our big team endurance event at the LeMans 24hr and the British 24hr. She looked after our drivers and crew, made sure everyone ate correctly and were fully hydrated – and provided much needed Sports Massage Therapy. Always with a smile!’
